Toyota recall and doing the right thing

I think this was a very stand up thing to do. All companies have recalls for things more life threatening than this. I think what Toyota is doing is the right thing and I think they are going to pull through this better than ever.

  5. The Toyota recalls are causing untold harm to their brand. 2.3 million autos in the United States to fix sticking accelerator pedals. 4.2 million cars in the US to sort out pedals getting lodged under floor mats. 690,000 autos in China defective electrical window switches. Toyota managers on Television to apologise for recall and still the mass media flag more concerns as the company gets more nervous. I wonder how much brand value this has cost them.

    • I would say it has definitely cost them alot. People who come into my store and casually talk with me about my car seem to have lost all faith in Toyota over this. I say nothing short of releasing a new affordable 2jzgte powered supra will save them
