Phila Fusion

Since we finally got hit by a decent snow storm last night Sam and I decided not to drive but still wanted to adventure out and try some new cuisine.  So we talk a walk around town to see if there were any new restaurants we hadn’t been to.  We found this new place called Phila Fusion. It seems to be a Thai restaurant with some more traditional Thai dishes as well as sushi and some other things tossed in.

I ordered a Sam Adams and received the coldest bottle of Boston Lager I have ever had which was surprisingly better than normal serving temperature and Sam ordered a Flying Iguana. Malibu, Midori, Orange Juice, Pineapple juice and a few other things.  Looked and tasted amazing. My phone camera sucks in low light.

We ordered a little oddly, for apps Sam got some kind of spring roll and I got a bowl of sliced beef pho thinking it would be on the smaller side like all the other Thai restaurants in town.  To my surprise it was huge had about 3 lbs of noodles in it.

For our main course we both split a Mango fried rice.  absolutely amazing.

This place was a great restaurant.  The service was overly willing to please, almost to a fault.  I loved their presentations of the rice and Sam’s Spring Rolls and everything they presented with the pho really allowed me to season just as I wanted where some other places you don’t get to do that its just all dumped in. The bill only came to $45.98 and that was with 2 flying dragons and 2 beers so it was priced very nicely as well.  Possibly one of the best Thia restaurants in Saratoga or the Capital region for that matter.
